The Asian Film Festival of Dallas (AFFD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and supporting emerging and established Asian and Asian-American filmmakers and sharing the rich diversity of Asian culture through the medium of cinema. Over the last twenty years, the festival has provided opportunities for over 400 Asian and Asian American filmmakers and documentarians to share their vision, often providing the only venue for their films to be shown in Dallas.

The 23rd annual Asian Film Festival of Dallas will take place between July 25th-28th, 2024.

To ensure the safety of our guests and team, AFFD will be following the COVID-19 Policy set forth by our venue Angelika Film Center, Dallas. All attendees must adhere to on-site safety guidelines. Guest policies on capacity restrictions and masks will follow the local city guidance and regulation, including that of the venue. We respectfully recommend that all guests use hand sanitizer and wear a face covering for the duration of the screening except while eating or drinking. If you exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you kindly stay at home. Kindly comply with the signage and instructions from our AFFD team and venue staff in areas we need to prevent overcrowding. We ask that everyone be kind and respectful of other patrons and staff members.

Festival badges, festival passes and festival tickets are the property of the Asian Film Festival of Dallas and are non-transferable, non-assignable and non-refundable.
If, in the opinion of the Asian Film Festival of Dallas, the behavior of a badge, pass or ticket holder is considered inappropriate, the Asian Film Festival of Dallas may revoke the badge, pass or ticket, in its sole discretion, without refund or credit. Upon revocation, the badge, pass or ticket holder must leave the premises immediately and will not be permitted to return to the event or attend any future Asian Film Festival of Dallas event(s).

Yes! We want you to look sharp wearing a festival t-shirt! They can be purchased at the AFFD Festival Box Office at the Angelika during the festival.

CAMERAS AND RECORDING DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE THEATER.
If, in the opinion of the Asian Film Festival of Dallas, the badge, pass or ticket holder is caught with a recording device, the Asian Film Festival of Dallas may revoke the badge, pass or ticket, in its sole discretion, without refund or credit. Upon revocation, the badge, pass or ticket holder must leave the premises immediately and will not be permitted to return to the event or attend any future Asian Film Festival of Dallas event(s).
