SYNOPSIS: A young rapper chasing recognition in Manila’s underground battle scene turns to petty crime when the rhymes alone won’t pay the bills. After botching a robbery at a secondhand bookstore, he’s confronted by its owner, a former dissident poet whose own history of struggle forces the two men to reckon with each other across a generational divide.
