FALLEN ANGELS

SYNOPSIS: Two interconnected stories exploring free will and personal autonomy. Wong Chi-ming, a contract killer who avoids making decisions and relies on his partner to plan his assignments, becomes involved with Blondie, a sex worker — causing his jealous partner to arrange his assassination. Meanwhile Ho Chi-mo, a mute man recently escaped from prison, runs unlawful nighttime businesses and develops an unrequited connection with Charlie, a woman grieving her ex-boyfriend's relationship with Blondie. Together the two stories contrast constrained choice-avoidance with isolation despite complete freedom.
